Vieux Château Certan is an exceptional, elegant, and complex wine from the prestigious Pomerol appellation.
The 2006 vintage is distinguished by a deep ruby-red color and a complex aromatic bouquet. On the nose, you will find notes of ripe cherries, prunes, and subtle hints of violets and spices. On the palate, the wine offers a harmonious balance between silky tannins and vibrant acidity, with flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and a touch of oak.
This wine has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop for many years, gaining complexity and depth over time.
This estate, whose history dates back to around 1770, has been managed by the Thienpont family since 1924. The vineyard covers 14 hectares and is planted with 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Smith Haut Lafitte has a rich history dating back to 1365. Since its acquisition by Daniel and Florence Cathiard in 1990, the estate has been modernized and now produces wines of exceptional quality.
The estate covers 67 hectares, with 56 hectares planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are sustainably managed with respect for biodiversity, contributing to the high quality of the wines.
The wine is carefully vinified, with traditional fermentation followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, 60% of which are new. This process adds complexity and depth to the wine.
